Before turning professional, he had a stand out career at Lee’s Summit West High School that led him to the University of Central Missouri. While there, he played on the golf team and studied in the Kinesiology department allowing him to understand more about the body. After graduating in 2013, Austin has continued to perfect his teaching methods by accruing a number of certifications such as NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Golf Fitness Specialist, Titleist Performance Institute Golf Level 2 Certified, SNAG golf certified, and a KBS and True Temper shaft fitter.
